The new funding accelerates platform expansion as companies scale AI agent deployment.

Orq.ai, the enterprise platform for building, deploying, and managing production-grade AI agents, has raised €5 million in seed funding, led by seed + speed Ventures and Galion exe, with continued support from Curiosity VC, Spacetime, XO Ventures, xdeck ventures, Waves Capital, and GoldenEggCheck. This round brings total funding to €7.3 million since the company’s founding in 2022.

Strategic advisors joining include industry leaders such as Sam Bourton (QuantumBlack and McKinsey), Adriaan Mol(Mollie), and Daniel Gebler (Picnic), supporting Orq.ai’s expansion into advanced enterprise and data governance capabilities.

Build agents your way. Let Orq.ai handle the execution.

The newly launched Agent Studio and managed runtime give teams the ability to design agents exactly the way they want:

  • Configure behaviors, workflows, and decision rules

  • Maintain full auditability and governance

  • Deploy agents reliably across cloud, hybrid, or fully self-hosted environments

A single platform handles the entire execution layer, removing the complexity that slows engineering teams down.

“AI agents are becoming the new layer of enterprise software. Companies will need a reliable way to orchestrate and govern them, and Orq.ai is building the platform that makes that future possible.”
Alexander Kölpin, Managing Director, seed + speed Ventures

Built for how teams build AI today

Most teams can build a great AI demo, but taking it to production is where things break. They often hit the same blockers: unclear agent behavior, fragmented tooling, missing observability, and heavy governance work. This slows down iteration and forces teams to rebuild critical infrastructure themselves.

With us, teams ship 67% faster and free up 10%+ engineering capacity by not rebuilding infrastructure from scratch.

“Engineering teams don’t just need more models; they need the infrastructure to industrialize how agents are built, improved, and deployed. They want clarity on how agents behave, how data moves through their systems, and how to stay compliant as the regulatory landscape evolves. We provide them with the harness to have this control.”
— Sohrab Hosseini, Co-founder of Orq.ai.

This funding round helps us expand our platform with  Agent Runtime and accelerates development of our new AI Studio for faster experimentation and collaboration.

Control you can trust. Compliance we can prove.

As GDPR enforcement tightens and the EU AI Act takes shape, companies need visibility over:

Data

Agents behaviour

Decisions

Know exactly where data comes from, how it moves, and who touches it, with full traceability built in.

Understand how agents act in real scenarios, from prompts to outputs, so nothing becomes a black box.

Track why an agent made a decision, what it relied on, and how it impacts quality, compliance, and users.

Orq.ai gives teams a unified control layer for quality, compliance, financial impact, and product metrics all in one place.

Because we’re infrastructure-agnostic, enterprises can run AI in cloud, hybrid, or fully on-prem environments without compromise.

“Enterprises are no longer experimenting with AI for curiosity. They want to implement it fast, but most of them are stuck passing real systems into production. We believe Orq.ai is the solution for their needs, as it for us. it accelerates our development process daily and is even used by non-technical profiles. Orq’s unified agent lifecycle platform shortens iteration time, reduces friction and brings stability to deploy agents at scale.”
—  Kevin Kuipers, Founding Partner of Galion.exe

Built together with leading teams

More than 100 organizations across Europe and the US including Afas, MoneyBird, Keyrus, and Helloprint use Orq.ai to bring AI systems into real production. They move faster, stay in control, and collaborate across engineering, product, and data.

“Leading enterprises have moved past experimentation. Their focus is production. Orq.ai provides the stable foundation to scale AI agents reliably.”
—  Herman Kienhuis, Curiosity VC
